POST-LASH CARE

How To Care for Your Lashes

  1. Keep your new lashes dry for 48 hours following your lash appointment (for full sets AND fills)
  2. If your set is a hybrid or volume set, excessive heat or water can cause your fans to close up or straighten out. If too many of your fans are compromised, the will need to be removed and a fuller fill or full set will be required.
  3. Avoid all oil containing products around your eyes, this includes certain types of eye make up (eyeliners, liquid eyeshadows, concealers, etc.)
  4. Don't sleep on your eyelashes! The best is to sleep on your back, but if you're a side sleeper, practice folding your pillow under your chin to prevent your face from rolling in to your pillow!
  5. Do not pull on your lashes or rub your eyes. Not only will this compromise your new extensions, but you could also damage your natural lashes as well.
  6. Cleanse your eyelids with appropriate oil-free cleanser. Cleansing every single day is not necessary unless you like to wear eye make up every day.
  7. Lightly brush the tips of the extensions as needed. Not recommended to brush them every single day. As the lashes grow out they might twist and turn, using the brush helps put them back in to place. Never brush the base as you run the risk of removing the extension.
  8. Be sure you have booked your appointment 2-3 weeks following your previous appointment. Always best to book before you leave the salon to be sure you get a convenient time for yourself!
  9. Do not apply mascara to your lashes unless it is specifically made for eyelash extensions. This is only recommended to apply mascara in between fills. If you feel the need to apply mascara on your full set of lashes, you might want to consider a fuller lash fill next time you come in!
  10. Best rule of thumb for keeping your lashes looking and feeling amazing: The less you touch them, the better!
  11. Call the salon directly if you have an questions or concerns regarding your eyelash extensions
